Moving Together: Thank You to Obesity Awareness Action
Adeo was honored to welcome Obesity Awareness Action (OAA) to our community, where they worked side by side with our residents to support wellness in a truly personalized way.
Led by Candace and her dedicated team, OAA introduced individualized workout routines tailored to each resident’s needs and abilities. These weren’t one-size-fits-all classes, but carefully considered sessions that gave each participant the chance to grow at their own pace. From stretches and strength-building to balance and movement exercises, every routine was designed to build confidence, resilience, and physical well-being.
What has been most inspiring is the determination of our residents. Many have faced unique challenges on their healing journeys, yet they showed up with courage and embraced the workouts with enthusiasm. The progress we’ve seen—whether in improved mobility, greater balance, or simply the JOY of moving together—reminds us that wellness is about persistence, not perfection. Every effort counts, and every small step moves us closer to a fuller, healthier life.
We are deeply grateful to OAA for their partnership and their commitment to making fitness accessible, supportive, and uplifting. Their work reminds us that when community organizations come together, powerful things happen.
